Aims of mhs community charity
Since its inception six years ago mhs community
charity has continued to provide a range of innovative
projects in partnership with a number of local agencies and
organisations that include Medway Council and
Gillingham Football Club.
The key objective of the charity is to provide support and
assistance to young people, helping them to prepare and become
ready to live independently and build up their confidence and
skills to enter the world of work.
The projects that meet this aim have taken on a number of themes
that serve different aspects such as education, training, job
search skills and community initiatives. While the charity has
a particular focus on young people there are other groups in the
community whom mhs community charity can assist in understanding
and breaking down the social barriers that sometimes exist
between young members of society and their elders.
