New homes for Medway

Reform RoadIn 2008 mhs homes became an investment partner to the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) to build new homes through the National Affordable Housing Programme (NAHP).

Following a successful application to the Tenant Services Authority (TSA) to set up a Registered Provider subsidiary of mhs homes, Heart of Medway Housing Association was established with charitable status. The homes built for Heart of Medway Housing Association will be managed by mhs homes.

The HCA invested just under £20million in mhs homes and Heart of Medway Housing Association through the NAHP 2008-11 programme to part fund over 370 units.

mhs homes will be investing a further £50million over the next four years to build approximately 300 new homes in the Medway community.

Working closely with Medway Council and the HCA to meet our objective of creating vibrant neighbourhoods where people want to live, we are proud to be involved in making a positive contribution to Medway’s regeneration and enhancement.

We aim to put our customers and their quality of life at the heart of all we do. The new homes feature contemporary and spacious interiors for the ultimate in modern living.

We are developing energy efficient homes with renewable technologies by incorporating innovative and effective construction methods. We delivered one of the first schemes in the South East of England to achieve level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes at Cuxton Road. Building on this success mhs homes delivered a further 25 units during 2011 to meet this high standard of sustainability at Orchid Court, Durrell Place and most recently Elizabeth Fry Terrace.
