The Brook Regeneration Project - Chatham
mhs homes is working closely with Medway Council on the
regeneration project at the Brook, in the town centre of
Chatham.
As one of the biggest land owners in
the area we will be heavily involved in the master planning of
the area.
We have already acquired a number of leasehold properties in the
area and we are looking to continue this in the future. We are also
on the look out for new business opportunities in order to increase
our land bank. It is hoped that by doing this, mhs homes will be
able to make a greater contribution to the regeneration of the
whole area.
In order to aid the road widening project currently being
undertaken at The Brook, mhs homes successfully decanted a block of
flats, which has now been demolished to make way for the wider road
and pedestrian access.
The former residents have all settled into new properties
with mhs homes covering the cost of removal, redecoration and other
expenses at their new homes.
