Ebico
'The UK's only not-for-profit energy supplier' Fair Priced
Energy for your Home
Who are Ebico?
Ebico Ltd is a not-for-profit gas and electricity supplier
aiming to offer a better, fairer deal for domestic energy to
British households. It is also committed to working
both for social justice and the wise use of the Earth's resources.
Founded in 1998, Ebico has been making a real difference for ten
years, especially to low-income households. 25,000 UK homes have
already switched to Ebico's fair tariffs.
What does Ebico do?
Ebico supplies gas and electricity throughout the UK - EquiGas
and EquiPower. It charges all its customers the same rates,
regardless of payment method, usage, or whether you are a dual or
single fuel customer. This enables it to offer more competitive
rates to those who need them the most.
How does it work?
Most energy suppliers give discounts for customers who pay by
direct debit, but charge the highest rates to customers who use
prepayment meters - yet 80% of people using prepayment meters are
on low incomes. As a result the most disadvantaged customers are
charged the highest prices. Buy from EquiGas and EquiPower for fair
priced energy, and help Ebico to get lower prices to those that
need them the most.
