Income team
The Income Management Team was formed in June 2010
to manage and maximise income to mhs homes, through the
collection of current rent, managing former debts, garage accounts
and provide welfare benefit advice and support. There are six
Income Officers and three Welfare Benefit
Advisors. Income Officers monitor their patch every week
and take the appropriate action to ensure that residents are aware
of their debts. It is important to make sure that rent
is paid on time. We can make payment agreements and offer advice
and support so that you do not fall further into rent
arrears. We can make contact by texting, phone calls, home visits
and email.
In circumstances where communciation has broken down between mhs
homes and our customers and all routes to resolve rent arrears have
been exhausted we are able to refer a case to court. If a court
order is granted and not maintained then we can consider applying
for an eviction warrant for possession of your home.
