mhs homes are responsible for the following:

  • the structure and outside of the property
  • heating
  • hot water and toilet facilities
  • the supply of water, gas and electricity

 

Your responsibilities

Tenants are responsible for the following:telephone operator

  • keeping your home clean 
  • infestations and pests - take a look at the policy
  • maintain room decoration
  • repairing any damage caused by you or your family
  • door fitting and locks and keys
  • toilet seats and bathroom furniture and fittings 
  • plugs and chains in the sink and bath
  • unblocking drains/sinks (eg fat or objects) 
  • garden paths that are not access routes to the road
  • all gardens
  • floor tiles (except in kitchens and bathrooms)
