You can make your own home improvements or have adapations to meet the needs of the residents, especially if they are disabled or need physical assistance. 

Home Improvements

If you would like to make your own improvements or alterations to your home write to us first to gain permission, detailing your proposals and including any plans if appropriate. 

Disabled Adaptations

mhs homes has a limited budget for adaptations so can only complete minor works.  You may be able to seek funding from Medway Council for major adaptations.  Please see our Disabled Adaptations webpages for more information.

Repair Compensation

You may be awarded compensation if certain repairs are not completed on time. The repairs covered by this scheme are emergency and urgent repairs which are likely to affect your health, safety or security.  More detailed information can be found on our Repair Compensation webpages.
