mhs homes is constantly striving to increase the reporting of
Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB).In particular we want to increase the
support and information provided to victims of domestic abuse and
hate crime.
We want to stop hate crimes from happening or getting more
serious, and to encourage more people who are victims of hate crime
or who see hate crime to report it to the police, or to us.
What is hate crime:
Hate crime is any unreasonable, unwelcome or offensive behaviour
that constitutes a criminal offence and is believed by the victim
or any other person to be motivated by prejudice or hate.

Examples of harassment/hate crime.
- Threatening or abusive words or behaviour to include derogatory
statements
- Threatening or abusive letters, phone calls, emails, texts
- Physical assault
- Displaying of offensive material / publications
- Stalking
- Damage to property
- Offensive Graffiti
If you or anyone you know is a victim of this type of behaviour,
do not suffer in silence report every incident to
us or one of the other agencies detailed below.
Hate crime is
