Pets
mhs homes recognises the benefits that
responsible pet ownership can bring to our customers. However
controls must be in place to prevent irresponsible pet ownership
which can cause suffering to animals and a nuisance to
neighbours.
mhs homes recognises the benefits pets can
bring to households in people's daily lives, provided they are
properly controlled and well cared for.
In accordance with the tenancy agreements and in order to keep a
measure of control, residents must apply in writing to keep pets in
mhs homes owned or managed properties and enter
into a mhs homes Pet Contract. This is to ensure
pets and livestock are kept under control, so they do not pose a
nuisance or danger to others and are not allowed to damage property
or foul in public places
