Anti Social Behaviour and Respect

mhs homes has signed up to the governments Respect Standard for Housing Management, and we are working towards meeting the six key commitments in the way in which we tackle anti-social behaviour and promote respect on our estates.

  1. Being accountable to our residents for tackling anti-social behaviour
  2. Empowering and re-assuring our residents by working with them to tackle anti-social behaviour and promote Respect
  3. Undertaking preventative work with our communities and placing an emphasis on early intervention.
  4. Tailoring our services for residents and providing support for victims and witnesses throughout the process ensuring that we treat information sensitively and in the strictest of confidence.
  5. Protecting our communities through swift enforcement by using a range of legal and non-legal remedies to take the necessary and proportionate enforcement action where necessary.
  6. Offering support to tackle the causes of anti-social behaviour by working with people to moderate their behaviour where possible instead of moving the problem elsewhere and by providing activities for people to engage positively with us. http://www.respect.gov.uk.
