Dealing with Anti Social Behaviour
If you are having problems with a neighbour, their family or
friends, and the behaviour is not of a serious nature then the
first step would be to consider talking to them. In many cases
people are simply not aware that their behaviour is causing
distress to others, and once they realise they will happily change
their behaviour.
If speaking to your neighbour does not resolve the issue then
you could also make contact with Medway Mediation.
How do I report incidents of Anti Social
behaviour?
You can report incidents of Anti Social Behaviour to mhs homes
in the following ways:
Telephone mhs homes anti social behaviour on 01634
354273;
Send an e-mail to asb@mhs.org.uk giving full details
of the incident and relevant contact details so we can get back to
you;
By completing a webform; or
By visiting mhs express in the High
Street, Chatham.
You can also contact the Medway Mediation service who will help
you resolve any issues you and another person may have.
What is mediation?
Mediation provides a neutral third party to bring people
together, and hopefully find a way forward. mhs homes with your
co-operation will refer cases to mediation to try and resolve the
issues. During mediation everything that is discussed is
confidential, and this information would only be passed to mhs
homes with your authorisation.
