Ways to pay your rent
You can pay your rent in many different ways which are listed
below. Please remember that we for security reasons we
don't accept cash payments at our Express
office.
Rent Direct
Housing Benefit is
one of the many way to pay yoru rent. Rent Direct is a method
by which mhs homes receives payments from Medway
Council. Remember it's your responsibility to ensure that your
claim is being paid. click to

Online
Visit www.allpayments.net and
enter your AllPay card number. If you are a first time
user you will be asked to enter a password and a valid email
address. If you need a new card all 05845 1133000 or email customerservice@mhs.org.uk
Direct Debit
You can pay your rent weekly or monthy 1st or the
15th. It's easy to set up, and unlike standing orders,
you don't need to do anything when your rent changes, we can
automatically change the amount charged and notify you. You
can obtain a form clicking on the icon or by going
to mhs express in Chatham High Street or
request one by post by telephoning 0845 113 3000or email
customerservice@mhs.org.uk
Standing Order
You can instruct your bank
to make regular payments(weekly, forthnightly,or monthly) of any
amount you choose using a Standing Order. Contact us and we
will provide you the form with our bank details.
Allpay card
You can use the allpay card given to pay your
rent in a variety of different ways. Each card has its own unique
identification number which relates to your rent account.

to find ways to use your card. If you don't have a rent card or if
it has been stolen or lost, please call us for a free replacement
card 0845 1133000 or email customerservice@mhs.org.uk
At the Post Office

You can use your allpay card at any post office to pay by cash,
cheque or debit card.
Debit/Credit Card
You can make a payment between 8.30am and 5.00pm
Monday to Saturday and up to 8.00pm on a Thursday using a
credit or debit card by telephoning: 0845 113 3000
or by visiting us at mhs express in Chatham High Street.
IVR service
IVR stands for Interactive Voice
Response. This enables mhs homes tenants to
simply dial the IVR call number and pay rent over the
phone. Telephone: 0870 243
6040 You will need to use a touch tone
telephone.
By post
You can send a cheque or postal order to the Rents
Team, Finance Department, mhs homes, Broadside, Leviathan Way,
Chatham Maritime, Chatham, Kent. ME4 4LL . Please
make your cheque payable to mhs homes
and write your name, address and rent account reference on the
back. Please do not send cash through the post.
