You can make your own home improvements or have adapations to meet the needs of the residents, especially if they are disabled or need physical assistance.

If you would like to make your own improvements or alterations to your home write to us first to gain permission, detailing your proposals and including any plans if appropriate. Detailed information on home improvements can be found in the Home Improvements webpages.
Disabled Adaptations
mhs homes have a limited budget for adaptations so can only complete minor works. You may be able to seek funding from Medway Council for major adaptations. Please see our Disabled Adaptations webpages for more information.

Repair Compensation
