Emergency Repairs

Any circumstance where there is an immediate structural or serious services failure and/or danger to people’s safety will be treated as an emergency.  Please phone the repairs telephone number 0845 113 3001 immediately. 

Routine Repairs

You can report a routine repair by either the following:

We need to know:

  • Your exact address
  • Where or what you would like repaired
  • If the fault is causing any other problems or damage

Repair Appointments

When you report a repair you will be given an appointment for when the tradesperson will visit to undertake the work.  The appointment will be on a date that is convenient for you and you will be told whether the tradesperson will call in the morning or afternoon.

Allowing access

If an mhs homes employee or a contractor working on behalf of mhs homes needs access to your home to inspect it or complete the repair you must let them enter.

We will try to give you at least 24 hours notice. However, if it is an emergency we may not be able to give any notice.

Identification

All our staff and contractors carry identity cards with their name and a photograph. Always check this before letting anyone in your home. If you are unsure, please contact us immediately on 0845 113 3000.
