Yvonne ONeil with Handyman Mick SpringerMilestone for mhs homes Handyman Service

A lucky Medway resident was presented with a gift voucher and fruit basket after becoming the 3000th customer to use the free handyman service offered to its customers by mhs homes.

The free handyman service was introduced as a benefit for customers who are members of ‘gold’ a service, which was set up to reward our excellent customers

Yvonne O’Neil from Wainscot was presented with her prize by mhs homes Handyman, Mick Springer. Yvonne said, "What a nice surprise, I never expected to win a prize for just wanting some curtains rails put up. Mick is a really lovely man and the service we get as ‘gold members’ is great especially for people like me who need jobs done in their home but can’t do it themselves."

The handyman can be booked totally free of charge, for 2 hour appointments to carry out DIY jobs such as; hanging pictures, putting up shelves, moving furniture, assembling flat pack furniture, fitting curtain poles, blinds and fixing washing lines.

Charles Brangwin, Head of Housing for mhs homes said, "As with any successful business we value our best customers. The gold service is an opportunity to increase levels of customer satisfaction and allow us to reward our best customers, those we really enjoy work with and who have in the past traditionally received the smallest amount of time."

The handyman service is just one of the exciting benefits ‘gold service’ members can expect to receive. Members also receive a gold discount card, which offers a wide variety of discounts and savings at many High Street shops, restaurants, cinemas and holidays. Other rewards include, access to prize draws, exclusive competitions, insurance packages, members magazines and lots more.
