mhs homes customers get a new start
New Year, New Start
This event, held at our Broadside office,
bought together three specialist employment groups - as well as mhs
homes' Human Resources department - to offer help and advice in
getting into work. It was part of mhs homes' commitment to help
customers get on the right pathway to employment.
Representatives from Reach Out 2 Work, Medway
Youth Trust and Royal British Legion Industries offered help in CV
writing, searching for job vacancies and improving employment
prospects.
A computer science graduate with ambitions to
teach was among customers at mhs homes' New Start event to tackle
worklessness. The customer attended the seminar to find out the
next step needed to start his classroom career.
Angela Evans said: "Finding opportunities for
employment today is not easy and I am delighted that our customers
who took part in this event found it beneficial and informative in
their quest to seek employment."
