As part of our commitment to providing
more affordable accommodation in Medway we have bought 16 one and
two bedroom flats at Lyon Court, Rochester from national Developer,
Bellway Homes.
The newly built apartments are
situated right next to Rochester train station and provide much
needed accommodation for rent in the centre of town close to
amenities. The complex consists of 68, one, two and three bedroom
properties.
mhs homes customer, Teresa Gudgion,
recently moved to Lyon Court, she said, "I am really pleased with
my new home, it’s very modern and bright. I use to live out in
Cliffe which was difficult when I wanted to visit my friends and
family. I have mobility problems so being in the centre of
Rochester is fantastic. I have regained my independence and can hop
on the train or bus at anytime."

a £816,000 grant from the Homes and Communities Agency, which is
helping to house more people in the area."
