Customer Scrutiny Panel member opens up about her new life

When June Patey and her family moved into their mhs home just over five years ago, their lives were transformed.

And now, 49-year-old June is giving something back to the housing association that helped them.

"From the moment I became a tenant I embraced everything that mhs had to offer. Being housed by mhs homes was the best thing that ever happened to my family".

“I attended the new tenant meeting, various workshops, conferences and became a mystery shopper too”, she added.

June also serves on the Customer Scrutiny Panel and has for the past two years: “Being able to have a say on things is amazing and learning about all aspects of mhs homes is so useful.”

The panel meet around eight times a year to ensure delivery of the highest standards of service, to look at our services and policies, challenge the way things are done, listen and reflect on tenant views and much more. 

Steve Claringbold has been the Customer Scrutiny Panel Chair since 2013 and has been a tenant with mhs homes for 14 years.
