We're on the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For list

We’ve been awarded Best Companies to work for status and simultaneously secured a place on the ‘Top 100 Best Not for Profit Companies to Work For’ list.

The recognition is due to achieving a high score on Best Companies’ Survey, which examined the ins-and-outs of working here.  The survey revealed how employees really perceive their work environment.

Achieving 96 on the list is a great achievement for us and we’re delighted our staff were so engaged with the process.

Sarah Helsdon Barry – Assistant Director of Business Transformation commented: "This is great news for everyone here at mhs.  It doesn’t mean we can rest on our laurels though; we’ll take this opportunity to keep improving ourselves and strive for an even better workplace."

We’re celebrating our success on Friday 3 March with a day long timetable of events which include wake up and shake up sessions every hour, photo booths, ‘Ted Talks’ and a paper aeroplane competition plus a spectacular lunchtime balloon release to raise money for our charity of the year MS Society.

The independent and confidential survey, which was carried out in September 2016, was completed by 72% of staff and probed their attitudes to working here.  The results will be used to help us understand what they think we are doing well and where they think we need to make improvements.
