Could you be our next mhs homes group Tenant Board Member?

We’re looking for two tenants to join the mhs homes group board. You don’t need any special training or qualifications and we’ll pay you £9,250 plus expenses.

The board meets ten times a year to:

  • Scrutinise what we do and how we do it
  • Make decisions about how we’re run
  • Help us do more of the things our customers like
  • Help us to get things right
  • Ensure we meet legal duties and keep to our aims and values

  • People with different skills and experience with great ideas

Is there support or training?

Yes. You’ll learn directly from staff members with an induction plan in place.

Plus, other board members and our Governance Team will be happy to help you get ready for meetings.

Application process:

Applicants must be named on a current mhs tenancy agreement. 

If you're an mhs homes tenant, your nomination paperwork will be sent to you in the post. We'll be sending them from 13 April 2022.

We’ll need a written statement that explains why you think you’d be a brilliant board member.

Your nomination forms need to be returned by 12pm on 4 May 2022.

After that, all of our tenants will have the chance to vote for you in our ballot.

We want our board to reflect the diversity of our customers.
