It's the law that we must check your gas appliances every year.
The check only takes about an hour. Liberty Gas will contact you to book an appointment six weeks before your gas safety certificate expires.
It's important for your safety that you let Liberty Gas in to do these checks. Gas appliances that are not working correctly can produce poisonous fumes, and around 50 deaths a year can be directly attributed to faulty gas appliances. For more information, visit the Gas Safe website.
If we find faulty appliances
If any of your own appliances are found to be unsafe or faulty then by law they will have to be disconnected.
