Our flagship development at Lenham development will provide 178 new houses and flats comprising of affordable and social rent, shared ownership and private rent rent homes. The first handful of homes will be ready in September 2021, with a total 122 homes due to be completed by March 2022.

The homes are built to a high specification and have plenty of living space. They include car charging points and solar panels on the roofs. The development will boast its own play area, meaning the local children won't need to stray far to blow off some steam. The entire development is expected to be completed in early 2023.

Shared ownership homes - Lenham Springs

A mixture of two and three bedroom houses are currently available through shared ownership. All of these properties boast modern fitted bathrooms and kitchens, along with integrated appliances - not to mention a downstairs toilet and en-suite for the master bedroom. Those features along with two parking spaces and a private garden make them a great option as a family home.

Two bedroom homes

  • Semi-detached homes are priced at £367,000. A 35% share will cost £128,450 with a mortgage and leave £546.68 to pay in rent each month.
  • Link-detached homes are £373,000. A 35% share will cost £130,550 with a deposit and mortgage. This leaves £555.61 to pay in rent each month. 

Three bedroom homes

  • Four detached properties available with market values of £440,000. A 35% can be acquired by a mortgage and deposit for £154,000 which would leave £655.42 to pay in rent each month.
  • Four semi-detached and one end of terrace are available at a lower price of £414,000. You can buy a 35% share of this home with a deposit and mortgage for £144,990. Your rent would be £616.69 rent a month.

Private rent homes

Three spacious and modern four bedroom houses for private rent will be completed in the first collection of homes, taken handover of in phase one.

These homes will be rented for £1,600 pcm on the private market.

Four bedroom houses

The kitchens and diners runs from the front to the back of the properties creating a fantastic family living space. The kitchens are well equipped providing plenty of storage cupboards and includes a dishwasher, hob, oven. There are separate utility rooms with sinks and washing machines. The utility room leads out to the back garden.

There are downstairs toilets and a large, light lounges that run from the front to back of the properties with patio doors that open onto the back gardens. Upstairs are four good sized bedrooms and the master bedrooms have an en-suite.

Location

The development is next to the train station on the outskirts of the charming, historic market village of Lenham. It’s a semi-rural location within walking distance of village shops and amenities. A five-minute walk to Lenham train station, followed by a 15-minute train journey will get you into the centre of Maidstone. Or in little over an hour, you can get yourself into the capital by train via Ashford, where there's a direct service to London St Pancras. St Pancras is also home to Eurostar connecting you to Paris, Brussels and beyond. The development is easily reached by car too; just a few minutes off of the M20.
